Pierre Ferrand Original 1840 Cognac is a historical mixing spirit from Maison Ferrand. Produced in collaboration with David Wondrich, renowned drinks historian, and Cellar Master Alexandre Gabriel, 1840 is a recreation of pre-phylloxera brandy. Aged in oak barrels for at least two years, as was most Cognac consumed in 1840. This light and buttery blend is perfect in a Side Car or Alexander Cocktail.
